The year of the Rabbit
Introduction:
"Embracing Change and Abundance: The Year of the Rabbit Album"
The Concept:
"Welcome to 'The Year of the Rabbit,' an album that captures the spirit of transformation, growth, and the blessings that come with change. Inspired by this year's Chinese zodiac, the album pays tribute to the Year of the Rabbit, a symbol of good fortune, abundance, and the potential for renewal."
Symbolism of the Rabbit:
"As we step into this year of change, we embrace the energy of the Rabbit, which signifies a time of renewal, luck, and the promise of better things to come. Just as the Rabbit is known for its agility and adaptability, this album reflects a journey of adapting to new chapters, exploring uncharted territories, and discovering the blessings that change can bring."
The Original Journey:
"Originally slated for release on 01/23/23, 'The Year of the Rabbit' embarked on a path that mirrored the themes it embodies. With a collection of 14 songs, including unreleased skits, the album was a comprehensive exploration of the transformative journey we all embark upon." ✓
Real-time Reflections:
"The album's skits, real-time recordings of my own reflections, served as poignant reminders or notes to self. These skits echoed the personal reminders to not fall back into old habits. Just as the Rabbit's energy encourages us to move forward and embrace change, these skits were meant to inspire self-awareness and growth."

SINGLE 2022
Your Rope: Skit: Reflecting on the importance of self-reliance, like a Rabbit who finds its way.
*Concept: This song delves into the poignant theme of recognizing boundaries and reaching a point of no return. The lyrics 'You know I hate to tell you no, but baby this time you hung yourself with your own rope' convey the idea of holding someone accountable for their actions. The metaphor of hanging oneself with their own rope signifies self-inflicted consequences due to choices made. The lines 'I'm sorry, baby, this time I gotta let you go' express the difficult decision to walk away for the sake of self-preservation."
*Additional Lyrics: 'You burned the bridge down and now we can't turn around, we can't go back.' These lines capture the irreversible nature of certain actions. It symbolizes crossing a line that forever changes the course of a relationship. Despite the desire to return to the way things were, the bridge has been burned, and the path back is closed off."
Waiting: The song embodies the sentiment of giving so much, waiting for recognition, and being left in a state of emptiness. It expresses the desire to be seen, appreciated, and valued, even as one feels drained and forgotten. 'Don't worry about me, I'm just here waiting for you to see me until it's too late and I just fade away.' The song navigates the delicate balance between selflessness and the need for acknowledgment."

REMEMBER
Push It: Like the Rabbit's agility, this song encourages action and forward movement. The music captures the motivation to embrace change. This was a song I felt like wrapped up the album in an honest way. After this long road of different emotions and reactions I wanted to be honest and open of my own self analysis taking responsibility for what I need to work on going forward. I just push it Until I feel like I’m gonna die, that’s the only time I feel alive. I can never just be satisfied or content. It’s never enough. Maybe this is one of the reasons I keep ending up in this situation even though I’m trying to be better. But this is who I am
PUSH IT
Remember: A personal reflection on the journey of transformation, acknowledging the Rabbit's ability to evolve as inspiration. "Remember" is a song that delves into the complexities of one's ego, pride, and moments of arrogance when faced with challenges or perceived wrongdoing. The lyrics explore this inner struggle, showcasing a different facet of the songwriter's identity. Through its words, the song provides insight into the introspective journey of reconciling these emotions and attitudes. Again an example of how fast I can go from hurt or upset to driven and angry and back around to grieving.
NEVERMIND
Nevermind: Embodying the calm and serene qualities of the Rabbit, this track offers a respite from the chaos of the world. The melodies envelop listeners in a sense of tranquility, allowing moments of reflection and stillness. Immediately following the song remember it’s almost an response or after thought of the song remember, as a way to show my bipolar tendencies how quickly I can go from so driven by the weight of loss or feeling like I need to prove myself or earn back the love or attention from people I cared about to all of a sudden just feeling like you know what, matter fact Nevermind. I don’t even care.
GUITAR TEARS
Guitar Tears: Drawing on the Rabbit's symbolism of sensitivity, this track explores emotions like tears on a guitar's strings. The melodies reflect the Rabbit's ability to feel deeply.
